I live in Waterloo, Ontario with my husband and our two cats.

We are setting down some roots in our first house in our university town. Our friends are our family (although we love our family too, most are not close). We are travellers, foodies, DIYers and desperately in love. I write about our life, food, friends, living in Canada, the funny things my husband says, and the never-ending projects around the house including gardening, and home design and renovation.

I am a planner and love to have a project so if I’m not planning a party, I’m planning a change around the house. Luckily my husband is handy (and loves me) so he usually humours me. AND, I’m trying to capture it all on camera as I learn to use our DSLR.

I’m hoping to start posting about my inspirations and what I’m excited about and wanting to try in our own space, so that you can come along for the ride with me including all the hits and misses.

This blog is really for my parents. They’re currently posted in London, England – a city that owns part of my heart. These are letters to them so they can keep up with us no matter where in the world they are.
