No, this is not my dad’s camera.

May seems to have come and gone in the blink of an eye. Two trips to Eastern Ontario contributed to the feeling that we had virtually no weekends this month. We were so glad to see you and surprise mom for Mother’s day.

  • We kicked off the month with a co-ed Ultimate tournament in Guelph. I played all game for 4 games straight on Saturday because there weren’t enough ladies. I was le tired. I hurt my knee on Sunday pretty badly and was practically carried off the field.
  • We celebrated Courtney’s birthday with a bowling bash. She scored a 199 in her last game. She’s not a bowler! That girl has winning in her genes.
  • I capped off the month with a girls night of dinner and Sex and the City 2 with the girls.
  • But the highlight, was probably Katie and Gus’s wedding on the Victoria Day weekend.

It was great to see so many of the McDonald clan. I tried to snap some pictures so that you could see what you missed. At least 5 people asked me “Is that your dad’s camera?” I guess you’ve got a reputation, dad. You were there in spirit. Anyway, here they are:

The very shy flower girl who wouldn’t look up

Katie and Steve

the vows

the rings

they’re married!

The rowdy table: We were of course seated as far away from the front as possible. Also, closest to the bar.

Mitch kept things on schedule as the awesome MC.
