(Fairy) Godmother

Last week my aunt Brenda, who is also my Godmother, came for a visit. But she didn’t just come for a visit, she came bearing gifts food.

All homemade and all very, very delicious. From left to right: fudge, red pepper jelly, butter tarts (half raisin and half pecan) shortbread cookies, beef and barley soup, almond brittle (in the green bag), pasta fagiole soup, homemade scones. It’s not hard to tell why I call her my fairy Godmother.

We are still working our way through the sweets, but the soup and scones didn’t last long.

Thanks, Brenda for the food, but especially for the great visit.
