About To London With Love

Hi! I’m Heather. And this is my super adorable family.

our family 2014

I originally started this blog when my parents moved from a small town in Ontario, Canada to London, England for a few years. It was a way to keep in touch with them when Skype (yeah… remember that?) and our time zones didn’t cooperate.

Since then the blog has chronicled the purchase of our second house, the arrival of two handsome boys (Harrison and Foster) into our family and all of our DIY and other misadventures along the way.  I write about our life, food and entertaining, the funny things my husband says, and the never-ending projects around the house including gardening, home design and renovation.

My parents are back in Canada now but London is still a city that owns a piece of my heart.

I hope you’ll stick around.

To get you started, here are some of my most popular posts/projects:

The Painted Kitchen – That time I painted our kitchen Benjamin Moore’s Stone Hearth (People love it!)

Nursery Finale – Harrison’s nursery (now Foster’s room)

Harrison’s Big Boy Room (So Far) – Exactly what it sounds like

A personalized dresser – Harrison’s DIY Stenciled Birthdate dresser

Bathroom Finale Finally – A recap of our master ensuite transformation

Back to Work – A Great Survival Kit gift idea for moms returning to work
